Archiving Policy
Asian Journal of Public Health and Nursing (AJPHN) is committed to the long-term digital preservation of all published content to ensure availability, integrity, and accessibility over time.
PKP Preservation Network (PN)
AJPHN utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PN) to archive all published articles. This network offers a robust and decentralized preservation infrastructure based on the LOCKSS model, ensuring that scholarly content remains accessible even if the journal's website experiences disruption.
The PKP|PN Plugin is installed and actively archiving all published content through Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Metadata and Technical Compliance
AJPHN supports the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), allowing third-party services to index and archive content efficiently. All articles are published in PDF format and assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for persistent accessibility.
Author Self-Archiving
Authors are allowed and encouraged to deposit the final published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories. This can be done immediately after publication, provided proper attribution is given and a link to the AJPHN version is included.
