Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025)
Issue Description

This issue presents diverse contributions addressing mental health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and community-based healthcare. The issue includes a randomized controlled trial on psychological first aid and communication skills to enhance self-efficacy, studies on dengue transmission among adolescents, childhood obesity and policy implications, and the influence of physicians’ appearance on doctor–patient relationships. Additional research explores the roles of community health cadres in non-communicable disease services, alongside a systematic review on resilience training to reduce burnout among emergency healthcare workers and a brief report on guided imagery for anxiety reduction. Collectively, these contributions highlight the importance of preventive strategies, community engagement, and psychosocial interventions in strengthening public health and nursing practice.
